Leadership of Love

Leadership of Love… Leadership resides in Character and in Gifting.

What kind of leader are you at home, office, work and church?

John 14:37-38 If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow RIVERS OF LIVING WATER

Rivers of living water come from what we have on the inside of us. Water is representing the Holy Spirit which brings the anointing that comes from believing what the word of God says.  If you have living water on the inside of you then you will have living waters of life speaking forth from your mouth into others’ lives!

Are you receiving living water where you’re at?  Are you giving living water? Let’s ask ourselves, “What is on the inside of me? Am I giving trickles of water? Is water gushing out of me or is it a stream of water? Do I have any water or am I dry?

We all have a calling in the local body not one member can survive without the other.  With this comes a great respect for one another’s gifting!   

Each member has its own branch branching out into what it’s created to do. When we don’t recognize each branch and we show no respect for those branches, it becomes impossible for the branches to branch out and reach others in the body the way that God meant for them to in order for them to grow.

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit apart from me you can do nothing.

Without the branches it becomes a one man show! This is what you call CONTROL AND SELF-CITED!

The tree cannot survive without the branches, when the branches are cut completely off there can be no growth of any kind! 

Note: There is a difference in trimming a branch and cutting off a branch. Trimming removes the deadness and promotes growth, cutting off stifles and kills.

Control will not allow any room for anyone to grow or be used the way God has created and groomed them.  IT IS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE ALL ON THE PASTOR, (YES, THE PASTOR LOOKS OUT FOR HIS SHEEP AND MAINTAINS THE RIGHT KIND OF CONTROL SO THAT NOTHING GETS OUT OF HAND or ON THE FLACKY SIDE.)

BUT NEVER IS A PASTOR OR A LEADER SUPPOSED TO STIFLE THE HOLY SPIRIT FROM USING WHOM HE CHOOSES TO USE! THIS KEEPS THE BRANCHES FROM GROWING AND SPREADING.

When a branch flourishes it blooms and creates more branches…it becomes healthy and grows and produces fruit and fruit produces living water!

But when stifled there is no growth, things stay the same, everything becomes dead, and the tree becomes thirsty and can no longer pertain life!

John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water shall thirst again; But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

When Jesus mentions water, He is talking about the Holy Spirit.

Before this scripture Jesus is talking to the woman at the well who seems to doubt Him. When we have doubt, we are not having the living water flowing through us, when we stifle others, we are not allowing the Holy Spirit to not only flow through us but others too! 

Rivers of living water must flow through the pastor into the sheep and from the sheep into the world.  When living water flows in sync no one is thinking about self, but all are being used and are helping each other move forward to fulfilling God’s purpose! 

Then rivers of water begin to flow, and everything works together as it should…in sync! Then everyone becomes one, becomes a unit God meant for the body to be.

When our eyes rest on Him we then see through His Eyes His way!

RIVERS OF LIVING WATER ARE LOVE…ONLY LOVE PRODUCES CHARACTER WHICH ENABLES EACHOTHERS GIFTINGS!
