Healed and whole in every way is what God wants for you! NOT JUST PHYSICALLY, BUT ALSO SPRITUALLY, MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY.

Understanding Why Healing is For You

Jesus took the stripes upon his back for your Physical Healing.

The Bible says, By His Stripes you were healed! 1 Peter 2:24; By His stripes you are healed! Isaiah 53:5

The crown of thorns was engaged into his head for healing of the mind, and to be set free and delivered. The mind is where the devil ALWAYS begins his attacks! When our mind is at peace we then walk in total freedom! WHERE THERE IS FREEDOM THERE IS VICTORY! We then believe and have faith in Him that OUR NEEDS ARE MET…that OUR BODIES ARE HEALED without the doubt…WE JUST KNOW IT!

The Nails in His Hands are for us to emulate the things He did. Laying hands on to heal the sick, and to bring deliverance to those who need to be delivered. To feed and clothe the needy, to touch the broken and the lonely.

The Nail in His Feet was for us to follow in His footsteps, reaching the lost through His love, go where he calls us to go and do what He tells us to do! We are to emulate everything about Him, to become more like Him in every way! To go into the Highways and into the hedges…

Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and constrain them to come in, that my house may be filled.

THE SUFFERING HE WENT THROUGH WAS FOR ALL OF OUR SAKES!

NOTICE in Isaiah, in the Old Testament, YOU “ARE” HEALED COMES FROM WAY BACK THEN…THIS WAS BEFORE JESUS ENTERED INTO THE PICTURE. THIS WAS A PROPHETIC WORD FOR THE FUTURE; FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW AND FOREVER AS LONG AS WE SHALL LIVE ON THIS EARTH!

In the New Testament, YOU “WERE” HEALED BY HIS STRIPES. This is saying because you were healed, going all the way back to Isaiah, YOU WALK IN HIS HEALING TODAY! Meaning you are already healed! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST TAKE IT, RECEIVE IT AND THANK HIM FOR IT!

Healing Isn’t Just for Christians!

ANYONE CAN RECEIVE HEALING…HEALING IS’NT JUST CHRISTIANS…IT’S FOR EVERYONE! Did Jesus not lay hands on sinners too?

Mark 2:17 And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” Luke 5:31 And Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Luke 19:7And when they saw it, they all grumbled, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” (Talking about Zaccheaus).

Jesus healed 10 men who had leprosy…ONLY ONE GOT SAVED AND BECAME A BELIVER!

As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him, and they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” Luke 17:12-13 (NASB)

Did he not heal the blind man…he wasn’t a Christian when Jesus healed him! Nor was the woman who touched his hem…Nor was the woman at the well. What about Mary Magdelene? A few of these people did become followers of Him, NOT ALL.

Jesus went to the sinners…he loved the sinners! It’s time we get our stories straight!

As a believer in God, WE ARE TO MIMIC THE THINGS OF GOD AND GO OUT AND LOVE THE SINNERS! LOVE ONE ANOTHER…LAY HANDS ON THE SICK AND HEAL THEM. SHOW HIS LOVE AND MERCY TOWARDS THEM AS HE DOES US! NOT TO JUDGE AND CONDEMN… THEY ALREADY KNOW THEIR SINS AS WE DO OURS!

I don’t know about you, but I need mercy every day! I want to be just like Jesus to show His love to everyone so they can experience His true love and mercy, (mercy comes from love) and for them to be healed and whole so they too would want to become a follower of Jesus. If we are not a replica of Jesus, then we are of any use to bringing in the lost.

God will heal whomever He wants to and wherever He wants to, and if you don’t like it, you need to take a good look in the mirror at yourself. Jesus used healing as a way to salvation. He wanted them to see His Love through His mercy and grace. He first showed who He was through His manifestation then told them to sin no more.

We all sin Christian or not…we are all a working progress working our way to be more like Jesus! Amen!

Healing Doesn’t Always Come Instantly

Sometimes healing takes place instantly and sometimes within hours, sometimes within days and months. It isn’t always the same, it sometimes depends on where our faith lies. Our faith can lie in another person’s faith, and we may be healed instantly but may not happen every time.

God wants us to take responsibility in receiving healing for our own selves growing in our own faith so that we may pass it on to helping others like I’m doing right now with you. This is where putting your faith to action comes in, “EXERCISING OUR FAITH.” (This isn’t just for healing but for our needs too!)

Healing is on hold at times because God wants us to come to a place of maturity by having us exercise our own faith. The first time may come from someone else’s faith (the person laying on of hands.) God wants us to keep our faith exercised, if we got what we wanted instantly all the time there would be no need to exercise. In order to keeping our hearts and bodies in shape we must exercise right?

James 2:17-26 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. vs 18 Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 

vs 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? vs 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 

vs 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? vs23 Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God. vs 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. vs 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

These scriptures are clearly stating works is exercising our faith! Exercising faith is putting it into action, to put our faith into action we must feed it every day! We are dead without the sprit; there is no instinct or sense of direction without the spirit man, the same goes for faith, it is dead without putting it to work. We cannot function without the spirit and faith cannot function unless we put it into action.

God Can Heal You Anywhere Anytime

God can heal you from anywhere and at any time. Who says it always has to be from someone laying hands on you? Who says it has to be in a church building? Who says it has to be during a revival? God can give you healing wherever and whenever…whether it be Spiritually, Physically, Emotionally, or Mentally. In whatever area …HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU! JUST TRUST IN HIM AND BELIEVE IN WHAT HIS WORD SAYS….THAT’S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO! He’s waiting on you to take it and receive it! Yep, believe it or not that’s all you have to do!

God can heal you in a grocery store, just like he did for a lady I knew who used to be an employee of mine, “Miss Dorrine (she’s older than I am) The Lord healed me! They didn’t take my thyroid out, I’m no longer on medication of any kind!” (If you haven’t read my testimony, just click on this, My Story and scroll down to the title “A Miracle of God”.

How To Receive Healing

There is nothing to receiving God’s healing other than having a small mustard seed. A small mustard seed is nothing! It is us who make it larger than it really is and is us who make it harder than it really is. Let’s pretend we’re holding a mustard seed, well guess what? YOU NOW HAVE IT! IT’S YOURS FOR THE TAKING!

It’s all a mental game. The devil comes right in and begins to stir things up in our minds; “This is all impossible, you’re not living right, God doesn’t really love you, God wants you to pay for your sin, He doesn’t want you healed, you don’t deserve it, You’re a nobody” and the list goes on.

First prepare yourself through speaking scriptures over yourself speaking things as though they were, to your body or to your circumstances Romans 4:17

We receive our healing through “Thanking Him”. Lord I’m taking what’s mine and I receive it in Jesus name! Thank You Lord for healing me of…

Thank Him the same way for a need that you may have…and I do say a need, not a Mercedes.

How To Keep Your Healing

The first thing you need to do is get as many healing scriptures as possible inside your gut and in your heart in order for you to believe it’s true! The Holy Spirit resides in our gut, when we receive things from the heart it then enters into the gut and stays in the mind. When that happens, HELL OR HIGHWATER CAN TAKE IT FROM US!

We want to keep feeding our gut the healthy stuff in order to stay healthy right? We can feed ourselves junk food and get unhealthy or we can feed ourselves healthy food to stay healthy. It’s up to us to take care of our bodies and minds in eating the right foods. Lack of exercise and lack of eating healthy foods does open the door to an unhealthy mind and body but also opens the door for the devil to come in and attack. ANYTHING UNHEALTHY OPENS THE DOOR FOR SICKNESS! Here are a few scriptures to give you a start to being spiritually healthy …

Psalm 30:2 LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

l Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

BELIEVE IT! TAKE IT! RECEIVE IT! IT’S YOURS, IT BELONGS TO YOU AND IT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO YOU FREELY!

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

If God can heal me from a television program or bring confirmation to others…KNOW HE WILL DO THE SAME RIGHT HERE FOR YOU!

IT WILL ALWAYS BE GOD’S WAY NOT OUR WAY! HIS WAY IS NOT THE SAME AS OUR WAY, HIS THINKING IS NOT THE SAME AS OUR THINKING.

My Personal Testimony of Healing

When I was 19 years old alone at home, I was watching the 700 club and had just watched a scene about a girl who God had healed from having scoliosis really bad. She had it so bad that she had to stand up all the time she was not able to completely sit down or even lie down to sleep. Specialists had to make a hammock like chair for her that would take some pressure off of her spine and would enable her to sleep. I remember it to this day, she was halfway standing and halfway sitting in the hammock like chair. That’s how she slept and sat down! Can you even imagine. But Praise the Lord, GOD HEALED HER!

I was diagnosed having scoliosis in the 8th grade after I had a bad fall, I slipped on the hallway floor in school and hurt my tailbone. I went to the doctor and was told I had to see a specialist and the specialist said to my mom after showing her the x-rays my having the beginning stages of scoliosis and I needed to see him every month for a while. My mom only took me one time and just never worried about it.

Now understand, I did not have it as bad as this girl did. To make a long story short. I was at home sitting in a chair watching this scene, I said to the Lord, “God if you can heal this girl of scoliosis, I believe you can heal me too!”

Right after I had just said that to the Lord, Pat Robertson said this, “Ther is a young lady at home sitting in a chair and you had just watched the scene of this girl being healed of scoliosis, you said God if you can heal her, I believe you can heal me too! The Lord is healing you right now!

LET ME TELL YOU THIS…I FELT HEAT GOING DOWN MY BACK AND THROUGHOUT MY WHOLE BODY! I KNEW I WAS HEALED!

A Visit to The Doctor (Confirmation)

I had just been hired for a job working as a waitress at an independent living home in Naples, Florida. I had to get a physical to work there. I saw a doctor I had never met before, Dr. Underwood, after he had completed my physical I asked him if he would look at my spine and tell me if it was straight or if it had a curve in it. (Scoliosis shows a curve in the spine) Dr. Underwood’s exact words were this, “YOUR BACK IS AS STRAIGHT AS STRAIGHT CAN EVER BE!” PRAISE THE LORD! I then shared with him my testimony of being healed.

God can and will do things however way He wants to…NOT YOUR WAY OR MY WAY OR ANYONE ELSES WAY…BUT HIS WAY! HE AN DO WHATEVER HE WANTS TO…HE IS GOD!

A Prayer for You

If you are in need of healing, pray this prayer and do so every day twice a day however often until your healing manifests. Fill in the blank what needs healed. Read scriptures on healing as well!

Father, I come to you and ask you to heal _____, you said whatever I ask in your name you will do it as long as I don’t hold any unforgiveness. God you said in your word that by the stripes of Jesus my ______ was healed, in 1 Peter 2:24 and in Isaiah 53:5 you said by your stripes my _____ is healed! You said whatever I bind on earth shall be bound in the heavens.

I take given authority and I rebuke and bind the ____ the root of the cause and command it to go and be healed in Jesus name. Father you said whatever I loose on earth shall be loosed in the heavens. I loose for my ______ to be healed and whole in the mighty name of Jesus! I take my healing and I receive it! Thank you Jesus my ____ is healed and I give you all the glory and the honor and praise and thank you for it in Jesus name. Do this every day twice a day, however often you feel led to do this and thank Him for it as though it were already manifested.
