Life is a journey, how we respond to things on the journey will dictate our outcome.

We can either stay joyful during the process (not always easy) or we can wallow in self-pity or blame someone else. If we look at it from a positive standpoint and face the truth about ourselves, it makes life so much easier to overcome and move forward!

STRENGTH IS GAINED THROUGH TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS

Without trials and tribulations there is nothing gained! You know the saying, “No Pain No Gain”. As a friend of mine puts it, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” Ha! Well, it happens to be true! This is a place where we learn to fight and win our battles. This is where VICTORY BECOMES YOURS!

“TESTS ARE MADE FOR TESTIMONIES! Without TESTS there would be no “TESTIMONIES!”

You’re Not Allowed to Feel Good About Yourself

We all know that the enemy’s #1 job is to steal, kill, and to destroy! His motive is to poke at you every chance he can to steal your JOY and to take your PEACE! He doesn’t want to see you happy so he will try any tactic he can that may cause you to lose your focus.

The enemy does not want you feeling good about yourself, because you see if you do…then he can’t attack you the way he would like to. When we feel good about ourselves; we have joy, which gives us strength to quickly overcome. It also enables us to not give in to the tactics of the enemy (the devil) and helps us to keep pressing forward. Doesn’t the Bible mention about counting it all Joy?

My brothers and sisters “count it all joy when you fall into different temptations.” James1:2

This scripture is talking about the downfalls of life, battles, hedges, attacks, hurts, anything to rise up anger in you. It’s talking about anything that is coming against you to take your “JOY”!

DON’T LET THE DEVIL USE YOU TO STEAL SOMEONE’S JOY! That’s how he works, through people and that includes YOU!

Mind Games

The enemy wants to hold you back and keep you down. He doesn’t want us helping each other…this is what life is all about, helping each other! One important factor to look at is “How do you see and feel about yourself? Do you really know who you are? Do you know just how important you are? Do you love yourself?” When we love ourselves, it is easier to love others around us and we are not as easily provoked.

Satan does not want you to love yourself! As long as he can keep you down, you will not be able to see the person God created you to be. EVERYTHING God created is ALL GOOD! Doesn’t that include you? It’s the enemy that plants the negative thoughts in our minds to try and destroy the goodness that God created-YOU! ALL OF SATAN’S TACTICS BEGIN IN THE MIND! THEY’RE CALLED MIND GAMES! I know all about mind games and second guessing myself…. been there done that. Once in a while I’ll catch myself second guessing. I put a stop to it right away! That’s the key…PUTTING A STOP TO IT RIGHT AWAY!

Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything He made, and it was very good…

l Timothy 4:4 Everything God created is good.

It’s important to remember God already knew you before you were conceived, he had already called out what your destiny would be! He had already set the path.

THE LORD KNEW BEFORE YOU WERE BORN, EACH TRIAL AND TRIBULATION, EVERY FALL, EACH STEP ALONG THE WAY YOU WERE GOING TO TAKE! It has already been accounted for!

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5

Love Your Mistakes

Another area Satan loves to attack is through guilt! Don’t get so hung up on your mistakes, most of all – forgive yourself! We’ve ALL made mistakes, we’re going to keep on making mistakes, we learn through our mistakes. So, love those mistakes, by turning them around for the good. God takes the bad and turns it around for our good! Most important…Don’t forget to forgive others!

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. Genesis 50:20

You Can Think It… But Don’t Show It

Have you lost your sense of humor? Get it back! You need it, it’s a part of the process of getting through and moving forward. God has a sense of humor, He created it… it’s a part of who God created you to be! Humor plays a big part in how we keep our “JOY”. Learn to laugh at yourself and your circumstances at the appropriate time. Joy is the key of getting through the negative. The Bible mentions joy approximately 430 times. Joy is healing!

Again, “YOUR ATTITUDE DICTATES YOUR OUTCOME!” The enemy can no longer attack you in the same area when you show joy, when you show a good attitude.

Have you ever asked yourself why the same things keep happening to you, in the same areas? Because of your responses! Whenever we show an attitude of anger, sadness, jealousy, hurt or even have a look on our face, the enemy has you! You know the song, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”? Don’t Worry, Be Happy cause everything is going to be alright!

Don’t show any kind of emotion other than thankfulness and happiness. Go be a blessing to someone; you will be more blessed than the person you blessed! This is how we kick the devil in the butt! It’s how we show him that he doesn’t have us… We win he loses!

Remember, the devil can’t read your mind…you can think it but don’t show it! Be thankful to learn from the trials so you can pay it forward.

Patience Is a Sin to the Devil

Be patient with yourself and take it one day at a time. Never be in a hurry for anything, that isn’t how God works! Good things come to those who are patient. We learn a lot about ourselves through patience. Patience is a sin to the devil! When we’re patient we’re waiting on the things of God, we’re able to hear Him more clearly, and see through His lens instead of our own.

When we jump on things impatiently, we’ve just bit the bullet of the devil! It just prolonged the plan that God has been re-arranging for your destiny. Sometimes the decisions we make can cause a delay or God allowed the delay because it wasn’t on His timing yet.

LOVE

Love is the MAIN ingredient… Loving yourself first before you can love others. Love makes it a whole lot easier for us to hold onto joy and enables us to help others along the way! This is what it’s all about…HELPING EACH OTHER! Loving ourselves helps us to love others. Think about it. If you don’t love yourself, can you really love someone else?

This is my commandment that you love one another that you’re JOY May Be Full. John 15:11&12

Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11-12

Now let’s get you “To Your Destiny!”
