Betrayals, Delays & Setbacks Are Moving You Forward

Betrayals, delays & setbacks are moving you forward… they’re not set out to hurt you but are meant to motivate and move you into your destiny… your purpose! Last night I saw a book, “Blessed in the Darkness” by Joel Osteen, I haven’t read in several years was sitting on my nightstand. I looked at it and said to myself, “ok God, I’m going to open this book up randomly.” Wow! This is what I opened it up to. “The Nest Will Be Stirred Up”. It went along with what I had already posted on social media that same day.

It was a confirmation of what the Lord had already placed in my heart. It isn’t going to be comfortable for me to do but is necessary to bring out of me and stir up what I’m being called to do. We all have a lot of giftings and talents that we are unaware of…and we won’t find out what they are if we never step out of our comfort zone.

Genesis 50:19-20 But Joseph said to them, ‘Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

Not everything in life makes sense and it’s not supposed to. If it did, then it wouldn’t be necessary for us to walk in Faith. THERE IS A GOOD REASON FOR WHY YOU ARE WHERE YOU’RE AT! REST AND BE ASSURED IT’S ALL FOR YOUR PURPOSE!

Creative Period

Betrayals, setbacks, and delays are meant to be about you entering into a creative period in your life. They’re not meant to stop you; they’re meant to push you!

Duet 32:11 As Moses said, “As an eagle stirs up its nest, so God will stir up His children.“

GOD IS STIRRING UP SOMETHING CREATIVE ON THE INSIDE OF YOU! IT’S NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE COMFORTABLE...

Be encouraged and know God has it all under control. All of your delays, setbacks and betrayals have been accounted for. He knew they were going to take place but are for your benefit! They’re not to hurt you but to help you. They are meant for GROWTH!

God Isn’t Punishing You

Know that you’re not being punished by God! Sometimes from our own mistakes we will set ourselves back and may cause our own delays, but they will still work out for our own good just like they did for Joseph.

Joseph opened his mouth to his brothers and told them about his dream of how they would bow down to him one day.

The evil that was meant for Joseph, God used for his good…it led him to his destiny. He went from being in prison to being an important leader. God molded and shaped him into a leader. A leader that would not only end up saving his betrayers’ lives, but completely forgave them and provided abundantly for their needs. Part of Joseph’s molding and shaping was for him to walk in meekness and humility.

Joseph didn’t complain, for he knew it was all a part of God’s plan. I believe the dream he had when he was a child is what kept him going…it was God’s vision for him. It was a promise the Lord gave him in becoming a great leader. He knew God was preparing him. JOSEPH KNEW HE WOULD BE OKAY EVEN THOUGH HE DIDN’T ALWAYS UNDERSTAND WHY. HIS FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD KEPT HIM GOING.

Let Joseph’s life be a lesson for us all…we are to walk in the same meekness and humility that Joseph walked in. Don’t complain and whine because things aren’t going the way you think they should. It’s about God’s plan for your life and His way is ALWAYS the perfect way!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
